Travel History Tracker
About This Project
Project Purpose & Justification
Visa applications (e.g., UK, Schengen, US) often require precise travel-history records, which many people do not track systematically. This app provides a centralized, structured, and user-friendly way to store and export travel history — improving accuracy and readiness for visa processes.
Why This Project Exists
As a personal project, it also supports my professional development in Python, software architecture, and product design. The old version of this app is currently available using Streamlit, but a much more compelling version is in development. This new version is an example of vibe-coding using modern tools and techniques — furthering the idea of “build and iterate fast, use modern architecture, stay playful and experimental”.
Current Status
- Old version (Streamlit): Live and usable for immediate needs.
- Next version: More sophisticated, built with modern tools, designed to incorporate cool features, better UX/UI, richer export options, and strong backend architecture.
- Example of vibe-coding workflow: rapid prototyping, modern tech stack, iterative improvements, and focus on experience rather than boilerplate.
